I arrive at the location 20–30 minutes before you. I find a discreet position — behind a hedge, among other visitors, or around a corner — with a telephoto lens that lets me shoot from far away without being visible.
As you get down on one knee, I shoot continuously. The ring box opening, the expression on their face, the tears, the embrace, the first kiss as an engaged couple — all of it, completely genuine and unposed.
After the yes, I walk over and introduce myself. Your partner's reaction to discovering a photographer was there all along is usually one of the most joyful moments of the whole session.
We continue with a celebratory engagement shoot — portraits together, close-ups of the ring, and candid moments of pure happiness. This is included in all proposal packages.
